Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what data Augustus collects, how we use it, and the choices you have. It applies to the Augustus service and website.
1. Data we collect
Account data — your email, workspace name, and team membership. Content you provide — process descriptions, uploaded documents, and knowledge-base entries. Connected-system data — data Augustus reads from tools you connect, only as needed to run the processes you define. Credentials — API keys and tokens you add to your Environment, always encrypted (see Security). Operational data — runs, proposed and executed actions, usage, and logs.
2. How we use it
To provide the Service: audit your processes, run automations you approve, meter usage, notify you of items awaiting approval, and secure the platform. We do not sell your data, and we do not use your business data or connected-system data to train shared models.
3. Subprocessors
We share data with a small set of infrastructure providers strictly to operate the Service:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and storage.
- Vercel — application hosting.
- Anthropic and OpenAI — model inference for the agent’s reasoning and transcription.
- Stripe — payment processing.
- Resend — transactional email.
- Upstash — rate limiting.
4. Retention and deletion
We retain workspace data for as long as your workspace is active. You can export your full workspace data or delete it from the control panel at any time; deleting your workspace revokes stored credentials and removes your business data on a rolling basis from backups.
5. Security
Tenant data is isolated at the database level (row-level security), connected-system credentials are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, and sensitive actions are gated behind human approval. See our Security page for details.
6. Your rights
Depending on your location, you may have rights to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data. Contact us and we will honor applicable requests. Business customers should also review the Data Processing Addendum.
